Film Challenge FAQ
THE WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 14th, 15th & 16th teams of filmmakers will embark on a mission, a chance to make a short film in just 3 Days.
Each film will have a specific HORROR theme that will be selected by team leaders at random (at the launch event on October 14th), these films must be a min of 3 minutes and no longer than 6 minutes in length.
Volunteer teams will have 72 hours to write, shoot, edit and deliver their Hitchcockian tributes, then at the Premiere Screening on Saturday October 22nd, enchanted film-goers will descend upon the San Jose Short Film Festival & the CineArts Theatre at Santana Row for a special 9pm screening and a very haunted AFTER-PARTY presented by, The Roux Louisiana Kitchen, Emerging Artist Productions & the 3 Day Film Challenge.
The AFTER-PARTY will be open to all ages, but for those over 21 a full bar will be available (free hors d'oeurves will be offered courtesy The Roux Louisiana Kitchen & Emerging Artist Productions) and we will be announcing the Best Films and the Awards Presentation and of course Prizes. So, get out your potions, your garlic necklaces and sharpen your stakes, it's time to get your crew together and join in the fun.
